Neon Halloween Vs
Time for Halloween look #2 for the year... some fun & bright neon Vs.
I think this is the first time I've ever free-handed Vs instead of using tape, and it was a breeze! Not quite as even as I'd normally do, but when pressed for time this method certainly helped!

Etsy Summer Swap Reveal with Beth of Printcess
Hello there! It's been a while since I've posted, including the intro post for this swap (such poor etiquette!), but I do have an awesome reveal to share with you!
For this swap, we were asked to browse through our partner's Etsy wishlist and purchase them something. We were then given the choice to choose another thing from their list or pick something that we though they would like from a different Etsy shop. I was matched up with the lovely and awesome Beth from Printcess, who was very understanding when I ran into some USPS issues. So let's see what I got!
A breakdown:

I was matched up with the lovely and awesome Beth from Printcess, who was very understanding when I ran into some USPS issues. So let's see what I got!
A breakdown:
- Pentacle vinyl appliques (hello, new car decor!)
- Nail transfers in adorable witch, haunted house, ghost, and creepy eyes designs from HailtheNails. YAY Halloween nail decorations!
- A cute Spellarella sticker from Tarot
- Bottle stickers that are 1000% going in my Halloween decor. How could you refuse a bottle of Poison or Vampire Blood?!
- Nail art bling from Firecracker Lacquer, including neon heart studs, holographic diamond glitters, and iridescent rhinestones. I've got plans for these. ;)
- CH Nail lacquer in #02, which supposedly glows under UV light! I have some on my nails right now and it's a gorgeous neon scarlet color. Simply stunning!
- Two eye shadows from Beth's very own Printcess mineral make-up line! She included Rawhide and Dragonscale. These are so smooth, sparkly and easy to blend! Take a look:
Rawhide, a warm leathery brown (left) and Dragonscale, a fiery peachy orange (right)
I could not be happier with the goodies I received! Beth was a complete sweetheart to work with... please check her blog out and share the love!

My Favorite Color Swap: Reveal Post
Alrighty! My swap package arrived from my swap partner, the lovely Brandi over at Lipstick & Tractors! If you remember, this was part of Chaotic Goddess Swap's Favorite Color Swap.
I chose orange as my favorite color (because it is!) and Brandi was tasked with putting together a package for me full of orange goodies.

Look at the orangey goodness!
Here's what I received:- A bright orange paint pen
- An orange Sharpie
- Scotch Expressions masking tape (in orange, obviously!)
- A pack of neon post-its
- Adorable mini clothespins with glitter
- A cool book of journaling cards, which I can use for card making & scrap booking
- A yellowy-orange candle (that we may have already burned) that smells like Tahitian coconut!
I'm definitely going to use most of these for craft-related purposes. The paint pen already has plans as part of the decor for our informal wedding "reception" happening next month! A big thanks to Brandi and, as always, Chaotic Goddess Swaps, for a fun swaportunity!

Orange Surfboards
I was ready for summer last week... despite the fact that it was really rather chilly around here! I needed to brighten it up with some orange and yellow, so I went with some simple stripes. I was told a lot that these reminded people of surfboards... very wishful thinking for the shores of Lake Erie.
Sometimes the simplest designs get the most compliments! Something that took me less than 10 minutes to do makes the biggest impact. :P Even my dad & husband commented and said they liked these, which is something neither of them usually pay attention to. Crazy stuff, the power of coordinating & bold colors!

Springtime Stained Glass
Fun stuff to share today! I bought a random plate off of eBay a bit ago that looked like it would have patterns (finally) big enough to cover my entire nail surface. And boy, was I right!
Taken in direct sunlight with cell phone.
A full size design means that I finally had the opportunity to try out a stained glass design! For anyone unfamilar, you stamp your design like normal then use dotting tools to fill in the blanks. Add a coat of topcoat to connect everything, let it dry, then peel it off and ta-da! You have a awesomely colored decal that can be attached with a bit of top coat.
